The Inauguration Ceremony of the 2024-25 Academic Year will take place on Thursday 13 March 2025, starting at 11.30 a.m., in the Aula Magna on the third floor of the Central Building A on the Campus in Piazzale Europa 1.

The event, which will open with a speech by the Magnificent Rector Roberto Di Lenarda, will feature speeches by the representatives of students Anna Colussi and technical-administrative staff Francesca Tardio, as well as greetings from the institutions.

The opening address will be given by Andrea Nardini, Professor of Plant Physiology at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Trieste.

This will be followed by a speech by Andrea Sironi, Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali, entitled ‘Generali and Trieste: shared stages in a path of innovation’.

This will be followed by the awards ceremony for the deserving freshmen of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, with the contribution of the Fondazione CRTrieste.

Vocal and instrumental performances by the Choir and Orchestra of the University of Trieste, Conductor Riccardo Cossi.
