The opening ceremony for the academic year of the Master’s Degree Programme in Architecture will take place on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at 10:30 in the Aula Magna of the Gorizia University Campus (Via Alviano 18).

The programme features a keynote lecture by Professor Paolo Nicoloso, entitled Architecture and Power during the Fascist Era. Nicoloso teaches History of Architecture and is an internationally renowned scholar of twentieth-century Italian architecture.

The lecture will be introduced by Professor Luka Skansi, who teaches History of Contemporary Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano.

Representatives of Gorizia’s institutions and organisations will attend, alongside Professor Giorgio Sulligoi, Director of the Department of Engineering and Architecture.
