From 21 to 23 October 2026, the University of Trieste will host Mnemosyne – the 3rd T4EU Heritage Week, three days dedicated to the relationship between memory, cultural heritage, art and research.

Inspired by Aby Warburg’s reflections on the relationship between art and memory, this edition of the T4EU Heritage Week explores how Europe’s shared heritage is constructed, interpreted and reimagined through critical memory studies and artistic methodologies.

Selected events in the programme will be open to the public, offering the opportunity to meet scholars, artists, museum professionals and cultural practitioners from across Europe and explore how collective memory is shaped, narrated and interpreted.
