Cattedra di San Giusto (the Chair of Saint Giusto, the city’s patron saint) is the name of a series of events organised by the Diocese of Trieste since 2010. This year’s edition opens with a lecture held by the Rector of the University of Trieste, Roberto Di Lenarda. The lecture, entitled La democrazia alla prova del futuro: l'Università scuola di partecipazione alla vita civile, focuses on how democracy is being tested when facing the future and how the University teaches students to actively participate in civilian life
