He then obtained a Master's in Publishing at the Mondadori Foundation in Milan.He has been a free-lance editor for various publishers including Ediciclo and UTET, and has edited numerous publications as a regular editor with Saggiatore and Ipocampo. He initially dealt with Italian non-fiction and fiction, before becoming involved with the release of a new series of literary classics. He has a wide-ranging experience of the publishing world and the different phases of the life cycle of a book. As an editor, he commissions books and series as well as maintaining relationships with critics, writers and journalists. He has taught courses in the editorial field of storytelling, textual and structural editing and blurb writing.He recently wrote a short non-fiction book on trees under the pseudonym Giuseppe Zare for Saggiatore, entitled Piccolo manuale per cercatori di foglie (A Handbook for Leaf Seekers).His talk will include closing thoughts on the journey 'from research to publication'.
