On Friday 21 March 2025, starting at 8.45 a.m., the final study day of the project ‘Masculinity in the Spanish sociopolitical arena between gender identity and discursive polarisations (DiscMasc)’ will be held at the SSLMIT (IUSLIT Department), via Filzi 14 (room A3).

The study day, entitled ‘La masculinidad a debate: miradas interdisciplinarias’ and coordinated by prof. Gianluca Pontrandolfo, scientific head of the project, will offer a space for discussion and critical reflection on issues related to gender identity and masculinity from different perspectives (linguistics, sociology, anthropology, social psychology, law, politics).

The event is funded with the contribution of the FVG Region L. 2/2011 (Financing the regional university system, Article 4, paragraph 2.b microgrants - Contribution 2023).

The meeting will be held in presence and with free admission.

Simultaneous interpreting from Spanish into Italian will be offered by the students of the first and second year of the Master's Degree Course in Conference Interpreting (a.y. 2024/2025), coordinated by the Trieste Interpreting Practice Team (TIP Team).
