The series of events under the initiative "Knowing the Industry: Actuarial Students Meet Actuaries" continues.

A new seminar titled "Climate Risk Assessment: Principles, Regulations, and Risk Management Techniques" will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics, and Statistics at the University of Trieste.

Speakers: Dr. Anna Cannella, Ernst & Young, and Dr. Anna Medolago, Allianz Italia.

The seminar will take place at DEAMS – Building D, 4th floor, room 4B.

"Knowing the Industry: Actuarial Students Meet Actuaries" is a series of seminars organized annually by the Master's Degree Program in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences at DEAMS. The seminars are educational and professional in nature and focus on relevant and current topics in the insurance and financial industries. Each seminar provides an opportunity for actuarial professionals from the insurance and financial world to meet with students of the degree program, introducing the latter to the working world and its practices.

Participation in the seminars is open to all interested University students.
