On Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a new seminar entitled “Innovations in actuarial assessments: from Generalized Linear Models to Artificial Neural Networks-based modeling” will take place at the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Trieste. This seminar is part of the initiative “Knowing the industry: actuarial students meet actuaries”.

Speaker: Professor Georgios Tzougas of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and current Visiting Professor at DEAMS.
