Calendar 28 May 2026, 9 am - 1 pm Testo evento An orientation morning for high school students in Friuli Venezia GiuliaOn Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Cattinara Hospital will host the initiative "Inside Health: Discover the Healthcare Professions", dedicated to university and career guidance for high school students in Friuli Venezia Giulia, particularly fourth- and fifth-year students.The event aims to guide young people in their exploration of healthcare professions, offering an interactive and engaging experience that allows them to gain a firsthand understanding of the training programs and career opportunities. Participants will be divided into groups and will rotate through different thematic stations dedicated to each of the healthcare professions offered by the University of Trieste's Clinical Department of Medical, Surgical, and Health Sciences. The stations will be organized as interactive mini-labs, where students will participate in hands-on simulations led by university professors and tutors.A visit to the Medical Simulation and Advanced Training Center is also planned, a premier healthcare training facility that houses the first European installation of the HAL s5301, the world's most realistic humanoid simulator, used to simulate emergencies and improve patient safety.The initiative will open with official greetings from dr. Antonio Poggiana, Director General of the Giuliano Isontina Health Authority; professor Roberto Di Lenarda, President of the Permanent Conference of Medical Area Colleges; and dr. Riccardo Riccardi, Councilor for Health, Social Policies, and Disability of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.The initiative represents an important opportunity for schools, universities, and the regional healthcare system to connect, aiming to enhance the healthcare professions and support new generations in building their educational and career paths.
