Simone Bemporad has thirty years of experience in the advancement of relations across different countries within the industrial sector. Over the course of his career, at major Italian companies such as IRI, Enel, Leonardo and Generali, as well as in the institutional sphere (Ministry of the Treasury and Ministry of Industry), he has supported unique projects and initiatives which havecreated strategic alliances and strengthened international relations.

As Director of External Relations and Communication of the Generali Group, he promoted the creation of ‘The human Safety Net’, a social initiative that has reached 800,000 people in 26 countries around the world, helping them to develop their full potential. In 2022, he launched a collaboration with the United Nations Development Program, allowing Generali to become a partner of the UN. This partnership enabled both parties to identify insurance solutions and preventive measures aimed at vulnerable communities in Asia. The project aims to reach 500 million people living in vulnerable conditions, offering protection against extreme weather events related to climate change and natural disasters.

Alongside his professional duties, Bemporad is also heavily committed to publicising his work, sharing results, innovative ideas and solutions in order to encourage honest collaboration between the private and public sectors.
