Wed, Dec 11 2024, 6 - 8pm Sede evento Former Military Hospital, 40 Fabio Severo Street, Trieste Testo evento On Wednesday 11th December 2024, starting at 18:00, in the evocative setting of the Former Military Hospital (Via Fabio Severo 40, Trieste), the 2024 edition of Homecoming ‘UniTS Success Stories’ will take place.The event promoted by the University of Trieste brings together alumni, students and graduates to celebrate professional excellence and foster dialogue and networking between generations of professionals.From international institutions to journalism, from the world of education to that of science, there are many interesting stories and experiences that five UniTS alumni, today established professionals in different fields, will share with the audience. During their talks they will recount the path that led them from their university experience to a present of professional success, with the aim of inspiring students and young graduates grappling with important career choices.The guests of this edition will be:Corrado Čok, Visiting Fellow at European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) and Programme Manager for AVSI Foundation in Nairobi (Kenya), UniTS graduate in International and Diplomatic Sciences; Chiara Corsato, Mathematics and Science teacher at the IC ‘Divisione Julia’ Secondary School in Trieste, UniTS PhD in Enviromental and industrial fluid mechanics; Stefano Felician Beccari, Legal & Policy Advisor at the European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium), UniTS graduate in Law and PhD in Human, Spatial and Social Sciences; Marco Girardo, Director of the daily newspaper Avvenire in Milan, UniTS graduate in Philosophy; Eleonora Presani, Senior Program Manager, Generative AI, Meta of New York (USA), UniTS graduate in Physics.The speeches will be introduced by the Rector Roberto Di Lenarda and moderated by Micol Brusaferro, professional journalist, contributor to Il Piccolo and UniTS alumna, graduate in Communication.The event will be an opportunity to strengthen ties between alumni, students and other members of the UniTS community, fostering an exchange of ideas and experiences across generations.The evening will end with a networking aperitif where participants will be able to meet the speakers and other alumni present for an informal moment to exchange ideas and make new contacts.To participate, registration is required.Flyer
