The lab is also involved in regionally (FVG) funded projects, welcomes visiting scholars from international partner universities (University of Maribor, Somali National University - UNS) and works in close collaboration with the GISlab of the Department of Humanities (DISU) of the University of Trieste, coordinated by Prof. Andrea Favretto. The event aims to enhance the interdisciplinary approach of the laboratory, which integrates transport and logistics geography, circular economy, urban geography, geography of innovation and Geographical Information Science (GIScience), in an open and third mission-oriented research perspective.GEP_Lab Day 2025 will also be an opportunity to remember prof. Carlo Donato - after whom the laboratory will be named at 1.15 p.m. on 26 June - by acknowledging his valuable scientific and human contribution. The GEP_Lab - Coordinated by prof.
