On Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Great Hall of the Central Building A on the campus in Piazzale Europa, the Conference "The First 20 Years of Supporting Administrations Successes, Falls, Criticisms and Proposals" will be held.

There were many factors that, thanks also to the collaboration of scholars from other universities, led a group of jurists from the University of Trieste-after the holding of an important conference at the Maritime Station in June 1986-to draft that summer a neo-frame for the arrangements inherent, in the Civil Code, to the continent of ''civilly misfits.'' The project would only result in 2004 in Law No. 6, introducing "Support Administration." The conference on May 17 and 18, 2024 intends to take stock, 20 years after its birth, of the institution that like few others has experienced such impetuous growth.

The event is organized by the Friuli Venezia Giulia decentralized training of the Higher School of the Judiciary and the Department of Legal Sciences of Language Interpretation and Translation at the University of Trieste on the occasion of the University's Centennial.
