This initiative is dedicated to promoting academic publishing and discussing contemporary models of scholarly communication.On Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Aula Verde, as part of the roundtable discussion "Books in Conversation: Population Movements and Cultural Exchanges in the Mediterranean", author Ornella Urpis will present the book "The Many Lives. Stories of Migrations Over Time" (EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste). The work focuses on the historical and narrative representations of migration and the dynamics of intercultural interaction in the Mediterranean region.On Friday, May 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in the Aula Verde, Elena Tonzar will represent EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste at the roundtable discussion "The Voices of University Presses: Open Access and the Diamond Road: Strategies and Projects".
