On Wednesday 9 April 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the doctoral seminar "The Almohads (1147-1269). Influences and Interpretations of a Medieval Berber Dynasty" curated by prof. Mehdi Ghouirgate of the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne, during which one of his latest books entitled ’Les empires berbères: construction et déconstruction d'un objet historiographique" (De Gruyter, 2024) will be presented and discussed. The seminar is organised within the PhD course in ‘HISTORICAL, PHILOSOPHICAL AND POLITICAL-SOCIAL STUDIES (SFIPOL)’ of the University of Trieste and the University of Udine.

The event is open to the public and awards F credits to students according to the regulations.
