On Friday 11 April 2025, the first meeting entitled ‘Hungary and Italy: democratic crisis or comfortable narrative?’ will take place in Udine, as part of a cycle of three meetings entitled ‘Dialogue on #contemporaneity’.

A critical discussion on the current drifts of power and the ambiguities of the democratic narrative.

Is there really a crisis of the separation of powers underway or are we witnessing a redefinition of the very concept of democracy?

A multi-voice reflection on how far the narrative of ‘democratic decline’ serves to clarify - or confuse - the European political picture.

The event will take place at the Libreria Friuli, Via dei Rizzani 1, Udine, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The next two meetings will take place on 15 and 29 May 2025.
