On Wednesday 26 November 2025, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Bar Knulp will host the third evening of the autumn edition of Caffè dei Quanti – Epiphanies of Fire, titled “Source”.

The format follows the tradition of Caffè dei Quanti: short introductory readings, a live music performance, and a popular-science talk designed to guide the audience through the “epiphanies” of fire.

The musical part focuses on chamber music for flute, cello and piano, featuring Eugène Walckiers and Carl Maria von Weber 

The evening will continue with the talk “To burn is to generate”, given by Giacomo-Vito Margagliotti, Associate Professor at the University of Trieste and researcher at the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN).

The event is organised by the Department of Physics of the University of Trieste and AISF – Italian Association of Physics Students.
