Calendar 29 June 2026, 6 - 7 pm Immagine evento Image Testo evento On Monday, June 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the event "Artificial Hub - Future Intelligences" will take place at the Rogers Station, Riva Grumula 14. This event will feature the presentation of the special issue of "Il Ponte Rosso" dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, published by alumni of the School of Cultural Journalism.Introduced by Paolo Quazzolo, professor of History of Theater at the University of Trieste.Speakers: Paolo Gallina, professor of Robotics and Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Trieste; Walter Chiereghin, editor-in-chief of the magazine; Francesco Carbone, coordinator of the new editorial staff; and Marina Blagojevic, Michele Ramunno, Emanuele Sichenze, and Giulia Scigliuzzo, members of the editorial staff.The issue, already available in both print and digital formats, was created by alumni of the "Ponte Rosso" School of Cultural Journalism. The school was launched last year thanks to funding from the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and an internship agreement with the Department of Humanities at the University of Trieste.Contributors to the "Future Intelligences" issue include: Gaia Bigollo, Marina Blagojevic, Greta Candotto, Michele Ramunno, Giulia Schigliuzzo, Emanuele Sichenze, and Barbara Zippo.The topics covered include the consequences of artificial intelligence devices on emotional relationships, power relations, and creative professions (animation, writing, graphic design, and scientific research).The school of cultural journalism, open to all and free of charge, completed its first year in 2025: 21 students were chosen from over sixty applications. At the end of the course, the long-standing editorial staff of the monthly magazine "Il Ponte Rosso" (founded in 2015 and now at issue 127) was joined by a new dedicated editorial staff, composed largely of young people, university students, and recent graduates.The alumni themselves expressed the need to continue collaborating, thus continuing a cultural education program that took an important first step at the school.Currently, thanks to funding from the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Ponte Rosso itself, the group of alumni is working on several special monographic issues dedicated to unconventional aspects of the cultural life of Trieste, Grado, Aquileia, Gorizia, and Muggia.
