On Monday, November 24, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., the Hangar Teatri at Via Luigi Pecenco 10, Trieste, will host the "AI Talks: Scientific Dissemination on Artificial Intelligence" event.

These are the two presentations of the evening:

  • "Cryptography Playing with Cards" - by Luca Manzoni, associate professor of computer science at the University of Trieste and head of the Natural Calculus Laboratory (NaCL)
  • "Bruno De Finetti, Man and Scientist of Hope (Mathematics)" - by Leonardo Egidi, associate professor of Statistics at the DEAMS of the University of Trieste

The initiative is organized by the Artificial Intelligence Student Society AI2S in collaboration with the University of Trieste.

AI Talks was born from AI2S's desire to disseminate scientific knowledge to inform and educate the general public about artificial intelligence (AI), providing concrete examples of some of its many applications and overcoming stereotypes among non-experts.

The event consists of several informal conferences. The speakers are people who work or conduct research in the field of AI.

The evenings are organized so that all those who have followed the entire series of meetings can experience the most clearly defined path possible in the immense and multifaceted field of AI.
