On Friday, May 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the event "5 Scenarios + 1 for the Ex Caserma Bernardini"  will take place at the Cavazzo Carnico Town Hall (1st floor, Council Chamber, Piazza dei Caduti 5) in Cavazzo. This event will present the studies and scenarios of the Masterplan for the architectural and urban redevelopment of the former Caserma Bernardini and the central areas along the Faeit stream in Cavazzo Carnico.

The RRR Lab research group of the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, under an agreement with the Municipality of Cavazzo Carnico - scientific director Adriano Venudo - is developing feasibility studies for the reconversion of the former Bernardini military complex.

Over the past few months, the research group has conducted surveys, mapping, and in-depth design studies, arriving at the definition of "5 Scenarios + 1" for the architectural, urban, landscape, and infrastructural transformation of the area.

The scenarios will be presented and discussed with local authorities, regional authorities, associations, stakeholders, and citizens during a day dedicated to public participation and the definition of guidelines for the future Master Plan for the former Caserma Bernardini and the Cavazzo urban center.

The meeting will open with institutional greetings from the local authorities. This will be followed by a presentation of the guidelines and objectives by Tiziana D'Agaro, Mayor of Cavazzo Carnico, and David Mainardis, Head of the Municipal Technical Area.

The project scenarios will be presented by Thomas Bisiani, Adriano Venudo, Luigi Di Dato, Mariacristina D’Oria, Elisabetta Nascig, Alex Ferletti, and Alessia Giacomini from the RRR Lab research group.

The day will conclude with a round table discussion and public debate.
