Description

The Bachelor's Degree in Applied Interlinguistic Communication provides skills in translation and dialogic interpretation for linguistic and cultural mediation. You will be trained to perform independent or subordinate professional activities, such as translating written texts related to business, institutional, and cultural tertiary activities (also with the support of computer programs), drafting and revising texts, document research, and collaboration in the organization of international events.

Within the course, three languages are studied:

  • The first, in which the admission exam must be passed, chosen from English, French, German, and Spanish.
  • The second, chosen from French, English, Russian, Spanish, and German.
  • The third, chosen from Arabic, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian and Croatian, Slovenian, Spanish, and German.

As a student of Applied Interlinguistic Communication, you will have the opportunity to undertake internships with private companies and local authorities, public, political, and cultural institutions, NGOs, as well as Italian and foreign universities. The course has a strong international dimension, offering a wide range of exchange programs with European and non-European universities, and dual degree programs with the Universities of Regensburg, KU Leuven (Antwerp campus), and Ljubljana.
