The University offers people with a recognised civil disability or impairment the possibility of obtaining a full or partial exemption from university fees and contributions.
In the case of a full exemption, payment of the €16.00 stamp duty is still required.

Types of exemption

Check all conditions and exemptions in the Tuition Notice.

Disability between 66% and 100% or recognised impairment
(as per Article 3, paragraph 1 or paragraph 3 of Law 104/92)
Full exemption from tuition fees and university contributions
Disability between 46% and 65%Partial exemption: the contribution amount will be calculated based on the university ISEE and reduced by 50%
DSA and BESEven without meeting the requirements set out in the Tuition Notice, students are exempt from the surcharge on the all-inclusive university contribution

 

How to submit the exemption form

Send the following documents to disabilita.dsa@units.it:

  • the exemption request form
  • your disability certificate
  • a valid identity document

 

Deadlines

If you are already enrolled: submit your application by the enrolment deadline (both for students in standard duration and beyond).
If you are enrolling for the first time: the application must be submitted before enrolment.

Important: Deadlines are final — applications submitted after the deadline cannot be considered for benefits for the current academic year.
Payments made after the deadline will incur a late fee, as specified in the Tuition Notice.
