Invitation to submit applications: T4EU Teaching Qualification Certificate

As part of the Alleanza Transform4Europe (T4EU), of which the Università di Trieste is also a member, applications  are now open for the T4EU Teaching Qualification Certificate, an initiative aimed at formally recognizing the teaching excellence of teaching staff at partner universities.

The certificate aims to:

· Recognize excellence in teaching;

· Encourage educational innovation through creative and effective methodologies and approaches;

· Promote T4EU's shared values, particularly inclusiveness, sustainability, and international collaboration.

Recipients:

The call is open to all teaching staff members currently employed at the University of Trieste who wish to apply for the certificate.

Eligibility Criteria:

To ensure the relevance and timeliness of applications, all activities, initiatives, and awards listed must have been completed or received within the last two years. Applicants are required to demonstrate, and not merely declare, the excellence of their teaching activities.

Applications should specifically highlight:

· innovative teaching practices;

· integration of T4EU values ​​(inclusiveness, sustainability, international collaboration) into their teaching practices;

· involvement in interinstitutional and/or interdisciplinary teaching initiatives;

· any recognition of teaching excellence.

Application Procedure:

Application is made exclusively by completing the specific self-application questionnaire, in which teachers are asked to provide detailed information and supporting evidence.

Deadlines:

The call for applications is open from February 10, 2026, until Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM (noon). Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.

Evaluation:

Applications will be evaluated by an internal selection committee based on the eligibility criteria established by the T4EU program.

Selected applicants will be contacted by T4EU representatives in March 2026, subject to any organizational changes.
