For the first time, the University of Trieste is opening an additional round of selection procedures in September for admission to its PhD programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year, with new positions and scholarships available.

Applications are open from 31 July to 31 August 2026, by 1:00 pm, for the following programmes:

• Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence;
• Biodiversity, Evolution and Adaptation;
• Chemistry;
• Circular Economy;
• Physics;
• Industrial and Information Engineering;
• Personalized Medicine and Innovative Therapies;
• Earth Science, Fluid-Dynamics and Mathematics. Interactions and Methods.
