The "PhD Innovation Awards – 3rd Edition – 2026" call for applications has been published. It will award five study prizes to the best doctoral theses.

The call is open to PhDs who have passed the final exam between January 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, within the PhD programs at the University of Trieste, with a thesis that stands out for the high level of innovation of the results achieved.

The application to participate must be submitted exclusively online by logging in with your university credentials no later than 1:00 PM on July 23, 2026 by accessing the following link  

The Prize, amounting to € 3,000.00 each (before legal fees), is financed with funds from Regional Law 2/2011 (art. 4, paragraph 2, letter b) – Contribution 2026.
