From September 25 to 27, 2026, Trieste Next, the Festival of Scientific Research, returns for its 15th edition with a fascinating theme: "The Shape of Thought. Interactions Between Brains and Intelligences."

This year once again, the University of Trieste invites all students to take an active role in the festival by joining the Volunteer Programme.

This is a unique opportunity to experience an international festival from behind the scenes, meet leading scientists, researchers, and science communicators, and build valuable connections that can support your future academic and professional career.

What will you do?

You will support lecturers and researchers during hands-on activities in Piazza Unità d'Italia, welcome visitors, assist with conference rooms and events, and help ensure the success of the festival.
