Data avviso 5 August 2026 Testo avviso The 25th call of the Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC-ERIC) is now open to researchers from around the world. The call provides coordinated access to more than 60 instruments and support laboratories for research in materials science, biomaterials and nanotechnology. Applicants may request access to multiple techniques through a single proposal. Mobility support is also available.The deadlines are:1 September 2026 at 5 p.m. CEST: submission deadline for proposals to receive a pre-evaluation and make any necessary improvements;30 September 2026 at 5 p.m. CEST: final submission deadline, recommended only for applicants with extensive experience in all the requested techniques.One of the new features of this call is access to four nuclear laboratories of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC). The facilities are dedicated to the study of neutron-induced reactions, irradiation in neutron and gamma fields, and radioactivity measurements.Due to work on the Elettra 2.0 project, the call does not include access to the beamlines at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste. Some offline laboratories and the TomoLab and TeraFERMI facilities remain available.Proposals must be submitted through the Virtual Unified Office (VUO) portal by selecting “Submit a new CERIC proposal”.Details on the available instruments, access procedures and temporary limitations are provided on the official call webpage.
