The University of Trieste has published the call for applications for the fourth edition of the Degree Award in memory of Professor Claudio Amadio, former lecturer in Structural Engineering at the Department of Engineering and Architecture.

The award, worth €1,200 before applicable taxes and charges, will be granted to the best Master’s degree thesis in Civil Engineering completed and defended at an Italian university in the field of Structural Engineering.

Applicants must have obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, degree class LM-23, between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, with a thesis addressing one of the following topics:

• steel or steel-concrete composite structures;
• structural glass;
• earthquake engineering and seismic protection devices;
• effects of exceptional actions.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online by 1:00 p.m. on 30 July 2026:

• Application for UniTS graduates
• Application for graduates from other universities
