It will also open a discussion on the importance of digital accessibility for inclusive tourism in the cross-border area of the two countries.

A key part of the event will be dedicated to stakeholder dialogue on the co-creation of accessible tourism. People with disabilities, associations, researchers, tourism organizations, and project partners will discuss the experiences of the DATIS pilot activities conducted at the Monte San Michele Museum and the Ajdovščina Industrial Heritage Museum, the needs identified during the project, and possible next steps to improve accessible tourism in practice.

The event aims to emphasize that accessible tourism begins with accessible, understandable, and reliable information, and that lasting progress requires cooperation among all relevant stakeholders.
