On Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Stazione Rogers, Riva Grumula 14, Trieste, as part of ARTIFICIAL HUB, the event "AUDIOVISUAL AND AI. The Academy of Dreams" will take place, featuring Thomas Bisiani, Antonio Giacomin, and Vittoria Umani.

In the novel "The Academy of Dreams", 135 video fragments shared online represent the archetype of mediated creativity, which today is predominantly based on AI agents. Surveillance footage and "recovered images" are transformed into Footage, a fantastical narrative through digital manipulation. Some argue that ours is a software culture that allows us to simultaneously be digital bricoleurs and artistic curators of content, the production of which, however, is delegated to autonomous processes and entities we consider immaterial. When we are moved by some of these works, we wonder who the author is: the human being or the code that assembles them?
