This is the fifteenth edition of Rose Libri Musica Vino, the initiative promoted by the University of Trieste and the Monte San Pantaleone Agricultural Cooperative, which will bring San Giovanni Park to life in May.

Four Fridays - May 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026 - designed as a slow space for listening and discussion, where cultural, scientific, and artistic experiences intertwine to create a shared light in a time often fraught with shadows and uncertainties.

The program will begin every afternoon at 4:00 pm with guided walks in the park and rose garden—botanical, psychiatric, and naturalistic—as well as workshops for children led by MiniMU. At 6:00 pm, Rose Libri will take place, with presentations and discussions featuring authors, professors, and researchers from the University of Trieste. The topics will range from anti-fascist memory to gender issues, from contemporary conflicts to ways of living simply and consciously.

At 7:00 pm, Rose Vino will feature talks about Veronese winemakers, resilient grape varieties, and respect for the land, followed at 7:30 pm by Rose Musica, featuring concerts, jazz, string quartets, and sound narrations.

In a present where darkness sometimes seems to prevail, this year, Rose Libri Musica Vino chooses to cultivate what endures: the stories that bind past and future, healing practices, culture as a common good, and beauty as a collective responsibility.
