The series of expressive readings aloud continues as part of the project "Inside and Outside Words. War and Peace in Friuli Venezia Giulia".

On Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at the Hangar Teatri at Via Luigi Pecenco 10, the performance-reading "A Child's Game" debuts. It's a choral wish for the end of all conflicts and a tribute to Diego De Henriquez and the War Museum for Peace in Trieste. On stage, together with creator Valentina F. Milan, the students of the "Inside and Outside Words" project will transport us into the future, to a "museum" where, through a mysterious "inverter," the profound meaning of war is reflected upon.

"Inside and Outside Words. War and Peace in Friuli Venezia Giulia" is a project promoted by the Teatro degli Sterpi – Hangar Teatri Association, implemented with contributions from the 2025 regional historical-ethnographic call for educational and didactic projects on expressive reading aloud, aimed at schools and universities. The Department of Legal Sciences, Language, Interpretation, and Translation IUSLIT is an active partner of the initiative, as part of its Public and Social Engagement – ​​Third Mission (IPS-TM) activities. The project, which involves about twenty teachers, collaborators, and language experts (CEL) and forty students from the SSLMIT, includes a training period for both the teachers and CEL and the participating students, and expressive readings aloud on the theme of war in various city spaces.
