On Wednesday, 29 October 2025, the traditional Welcome Day will be held in Piazzale Europa. This event is organised by the Student Council of the University of Trieste to welcome students, especially freshers.

The programme for the day includes:

2:30pm - 5:45pm: Information tables run by associations

5:15pm: Welcome speeches by Donata Vianelli, Rector of the University of Trieste, professor Giulia Caccamo, Delegate for Student Community Policies, General Director Luciana Rozzini and Student Council President Morgan Baliviera

6:30pm - 9:00pm: DJ set by DJ Catta

9:00pm-10:30pm: DJ Jodi Vivoda

The event offers the opportunity to learn about the associations registered in the University Register, as well as various other associations and groups, both student and external, of particular interest to the university community.
