On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., the event "Universities for Giulio Regeni. Ten Years After His Death, an Initiative for Freedom of Research" will take place in the Aula Magna of Central Building A of the Piazzale Europa Campus. The documentary "Giulio Regeni - Tutto il male del mondo", produced by Fandango and Ganesh Produzioni, will be screened.

The event is organized by UniTS as part of the "Universities for Giulio Regeni" initiative, promoted by Senator for Life and scientist Elena Cattaneo ten years after the young researcher's death in Egypt. Seventy-six universities and 15,000 people, including students, researchers, academic staff, and citizens, will be involved in two months of meetings and screenings on freedom of research.
