The Quality Assurance Office of the University of Trieste will participate in the traditional "Welcome Day 2025" event organised by the Student Council on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, starting at 2:30 p.m. in Piazzale Europa, to welcome all students, with a special focus on freshmen.

For the occasion, several information stands dedicated to the Quality Assurance Office will be set up, distributing brochures on the University Quality System and the role of students within the SAQ.

What is the Quality Assurance System (SAQ)?
The Quality Assurance System (SAQ) is the set of processes, roles and responsibilities adopted by the University to ensure the achievement of educational, scientific and public and social commitment objectives, in order to contribute to improving the quality of higher education in accordance with the universities' responsibility towards society.
This is required by the Quality Assurance (QA) model for universities, prepared by the National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR).
In particular, the ANVUR model requires all members of the university community (teachers, researchers, administrators, students and doctoral students) to actively participate in achieving quality and improvement objectives.
