From February 9 to 11, 2026, the "Annual Workshop for PhD Students in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste" will take place at the former Military Hospital, located at Via Fabio Severo 40, Trieste.

The event will begin on Monday, February 9, at 2:00 PM, with the participation of Paola Posocco, Coordinator of the PhD Program in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste, and Federico Becca, Deputy Director of the Department of Physics at the University of Trieste.

Tuesday, February 10, 9 a.m.: Luka Dordevic (Università di Padova)  "Photocatalysis with aggregated organic dyes"

Wednesday, February 11, 9 a.m.: Egbert Zojer (Graz University of Technology) "Understanding thermal transport in complex materials via quantitatively accurate simulations employing machine-learned force fields"

The days will conclude with the awarding of the "Fernando Tommasini," "Alessandro De Vita," and "Best Career" prizes.
