Oberdan” Scientific High School, with the patronage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. At the end of the discussions, each committee will produce a resolution summarizing the common proposals developed by the participants. After hosting the opening ceremony for the first time in 2024, this year the University of Trieste further strengthens its commitment to OberMUN. The 2025 edition will open on April 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Aula Magna of Building A, and will conclude with the final ceremony on April 6 in Aula Baiocchi. In addition, Lucio Torelli, Professor of Medical Statistics and Rector’s Delegate for incoming and outgoing orientation and job placement, officially joins the event’s organizing committee—marking an even closer collaboration between schools and the university. The aim of OberMUN is not only to introduce young people to the mechanisms of international diplomacy, but also to promote dialogue, mutual respect, and cooperation among students from different countries. It offers a concrete opportunity for personal growth, cultural exchange, and the development of key soft skills. As previous participants have testified, the project represents a meaningful milestone in both the academic and personal journeys of those who take part, leaving lasting and vivid memories.
