Memorie d’Aria event and presentation of research on asbestos by the Department of Legal Sciences, Language, Interpreting and Translation of the University of Trieste

On Friday, 19 September 2025, at 6 p.m., in the Tartini Hall of the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory of Music in Via Ghega 12, Trieste, the event Memorie d'Aria (Memories of Air) will be held, promoted by the Ubaldo Spanghero Association of Monfalcone in memory of the victims of asbestos. The initiative stems from the desire to give voice and memory to a story that is still too often forgotten: that of workers exposed to asbestos.

On this occasion, there will be a concert organised by the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory of Music and a presentation of the results of research on asbestos carried out by the Department of Legal Sciences, Language, Interpreting and Translation at the University of Trieste, which have been compiled in the book ‘Tecniche di tutele e responsabilità per i danni da amianto’ (Techniques for protection and liability for asbestos damage) edited by Maria Dolores Ferrara, Giancarlo Moro and Patrizia Ziviz (EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste, 2025).
