Calendar 29 June 2026, 2 - 5 pm Immagine evento Image Testo evento BeSENSHome: Innovation, inclusion, and well-being in living spaces at the heart of the project's final Open DayMonday, June 29, 2026, will be a public day to learn about the results, technologies, and methodologies developed as part of the Interreg Italy-Austria project.The final Open Day of the BeSENSHome project will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the ProgettoAutismo FVG headquarters in Via Perugia 7 in Feletto Umberto. This initiative, part of the Interreg Italy-Austria Program, focuses on the development of inclusive environments and innovative technologies for the well-being of neurodivergent people.The event represents an important opportunity for project partners, institutions, professionals, associations, and citizens interested in social inclusion, technological innovation, and quality of life to meet and discuss ideas.The goal of the BeSENSHome project was to implement advanced architectures and customizable smart sensor networks to ensure environmental comfort and well-being within public spaces intended for people with specific sensory needs. Through a multidisciplinary and participatory approach, the project developed innovative solutions to make environments more accessible, welcoming, and responsive to the needs of neurodivergent individuals.The day will begin at 2:00 PM with a welcome address and an introduction to the project's results, in the presence of BeSENSHome partners and local authorities involved in the Interreg Italy-Austria program.Afterwards, from 2:50 PM to 4:30 PM, participants will be free to participate in a series of experiential and demonstration workshops dedicated to the project's main areas of activity. The workshops will offer the opportunity to delve deeper into the co-design process developed with users, gain a closer look at how the BeSENSHome system works, and explore the potential applications of the developed technologies in everyday life.The workshops will also provide an opportunity to explore topics such as participatory design, inclusive sensory spaces, and technologies that support personal autonomy, encouraging dialogue and sharing among experts, practitioners, and the community.The event will conclude at 5:00 PM with closing remarks and a thank you.The Open Day is open to all interested parties.
