On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM, at the PAG - POLO GIOVANI TOTI, Via della Cattedrale 4A, Trieste, an event dedicated to eco-sustainability entitled "Battle to the Bottle" will take place.

The speakers will be:

- Giovanni Farina, PhD in environmental engineering, who will address the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and the environment;

- Francesca Malfatti, Microbiologist at the University of Trieste

- Sara Basso, professor in the Department of Engineering and Architecture, who will discuss the topic of food sustainability.

The "Battle to the Bottle" project aims to reduce the environmental impact of excessive plastic bottle consumption in the daily lives of university students and to develop an eco-sustainable party prototype based on scientific evidence, addressing waste, music, and lighting.

The event is open to all university students. There will be a recreational session with live music and an educational component, including some activities aimed at promoting recycling.
