The Museum ‘Carlo and Vera Wagner’ (via del Monte 7, Trieste) next Tuesday, 10 December 2024 at 5.30 p.m. will host a meeting with Sybille Von Tiedemann, historian, research assistant at the Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism in Munich and animator of the association Gedenkinitiative für die Euthanasie-Opfer (Initiative in memory of the victims of euthanasia in Munich). 

Tullia Catalan, lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Trieste, will introduce and moderate. Von Tiedemann will talk about the Eglfing-Haar sanatorium and nursing home (Munich) under National Socialism and about a case study related to the topic, addressed a few months ago during the conference ‘La Cura tradita. Trieste 1944-2024'.

The meeting is organised by the Museum of the Jewish Community of Trieste in collaboration with the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University of Trieste.
