Elevate is a European project that promotes entrepreneurship and innovation in the fields of food (bio)technology, (bio)medicine, artificial intelligence, and creative industries. By connecting diverse stakeholders across six European regions, the project builds sustainable ecosystems and aims to become a European benchmark for science- and technology-based entrepreneurship.

The call for applications is now open for the ELEVATE Acceleration Programme, a European program funded by the EIT HEI Initiative, designed to support high-potential entrepreneurial teams in the following fields: Artificial Intelligence, Biomedicine & Health, Food & Food Biotechnology, and Creative & Cultural Industries.

What the program offers:

• 12 weeks of intensive acceleration
• Entrepreneurial training (30 hours) on business models, strategy, finance, and intellectual property
• Personalized mentoring (40 hours) with international experts
• Access to a European network of companies, investors, and universities
• Final pitch to international stakeholders
• Immersion week in Italy with in-person activities

Who can apply:

Teams of at least two people or startups established less than a year ago affiliated with one of the ELEVATE project partners, including the University of Trieste, are eligible to apply.
Projects with a clear entrepreneurial perspective are eligible, even if they are in their early stages or already involved in other programs, provided they are consistent with one of the sectors indicated.

Prizes and opportunities:

• €5,000 for each sector
• Additional prize for Women Entrepreneurs
• Access to a top European accelerator for the winners
