The international conference "Georgia between past and future. Memory, Identity, and Geopolitics in Transition" will be held from Monday, May 11th to Friday, May 15th, 2026, at the Gorizia University Campus at Via Alviano 18, in Gorizia.

The conference is a collaboration with Tbilisi State University and features Georgian students in the PoSig Master's Degree Program, which the University joined in 2025 and which was launched this academic year. The purpose of the conference is to inform students about the current situation in Georgia, particularly with regard to the European Union and security.
