On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in Building A, Aula Caioli, the seminar "Research Transmission Infrastructures: Data Sharing, Collaboration, Computing, and New Applications for the Scientific and Academic Community" will take place.

Giorgio Giorgetti, University of Trieste, Head of the Cybersecurity, Telematics, and Cloud Infrastructures Sector of the ICT Services Area, and Director of LightNet, will present and moderate.
Andrea Crismani, Full Professor of Administrative Law, DiSPeS, Units, will present and moderate the seminar.

The seminar, part of the Digital Administration Law and New Technologies Program and the Public Administration and Sustainability Program, Local Governments and Public-Private Partnerships in European Public Systems module, will examine network infrastructures dedicated to research and academia, with a particular focus on scientific data sharing, inter-institutional collaboration, distributed computing, and new applications for the academic and scientific community. Concrete cases and application scenarios will be discussed to promote understanding of the impact of these infrastructures on digital administrative action and research.
