“Let’s change! The climate is changing. Let’s talk about it” is a project promoted by the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, funded under the University’s Public and Social Engagement Projects – Third Mission. The initiative, running between 2025 and 2026, aims to create opportunities for listening, sharing information, and fostering dialogue with citizens on the impacts of climate change and on strategies to address them collectively. Planned activities include public talks, film screenings, and workshops to engage the local community with accessible language and a multidisciplinary approach.

The sixth event is the talk “Not Just Construction: Does Living Differently Help Reduce Climat Impact?”, scheduled for November 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Caffè San Marco in Trieste.

The Event in Brief
What are the environmental impacts of our daily energy consumption at home? And what about the broader effects linked to our lifestyles and the way we move? The aim of the talk is to raise awareness of these aspects—closely tied to individual choices—and to provide practical tips on habits that can help reduce our environmental footprint.

Speakers: Marco Manzan, Chiara Bedon and Ronelly De Souza
