Dialogues with the Classics of Pedagogy" series of meetings promoted by the Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences at the University of Trieste continues at the Rogers Station.On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, Elisabetta Madriz, professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Trieste, will be the keynote speaker at the event "Maria Montessori: From Medicine to Pedagogy, Toward Freedom". This event will explore the historical and scientific journey of one of the most celebrated figures in pedagogy. Highlights of her educational experience will also be highlighted, including references to some of her significant works.Professor Madriz is the Rector's delegate for Orientation Projects. Her main research interests include educational and training roles in different contexts and at different levels of operation.The "Pedagogical Conversations" will continue with two more meetings until May. The initiative was created to raise awareness of some of the great voices of the past and present to understand and guide today's educational practices. It offers an opportunity for in-depth study, interdisciplinary dialogue, and potential inspiration for the development of research and theses.
