Una delegazione di rappresentanti dei sei Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) – TWAS Centres of Excellence ha fatto visita a UniTS, accolta dalla rettrice Donata Vianelli, dalla delegata per le Relazioni internazionali Elisabetta De Giorgi, dal prorettore alla Ricerca Paolo Fornasiero, dal direttore del Dipartimento MIGE Stefano Parolai e da Stefano Di Bella del Dipartimento di Scienze Mediche. La delegazione era accompagnata dal Prof. Knobel, Direttore Esecutivo TWAS.

I CAS-TWAS CoEs rappresentano un’importante opportunità per i ricercatori per sviluppare le loro linee di studio nei laboratori di eccellenza situati a Pechino.

Oltre a discutere di futuri obiettivi e possibili ampliamenti dei loro progetti in corso, la delegazione ha potuto conoscere la realtà e le opportunità offerte dall’Università di Trieste e dalla rete SiS FVG.
