On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM, in Room A of Building C2 on the Campus, a conference entitled "Accrual Accounting: Foundations and Practical Applications in University Budgeting" will take place.

Speaker: Luciana Rozzini, Director of Human Resources and Director of Economic and Financial Services, Units.
Presenter and moderator: Andrea Crismani, Full Professor of Administrative Law, DiSPeS, Units.

This meeting, held as part of the Administrative Law and Public Accounting Course, will provide an introductory overview of accrual accounting and its practical implications for the public sector. The fundamental principles of this accounting will be analyzed, highlighting how it allows for a true representation of the administration's economic, financial, and equity situation.
Through practical examples from a university's financial statements, participants will be guided to understand the differences compared to traditional financial accounting and the importance of correctly recording and valuing balance sheet and profit/loss items.
