05 - 12 March 2026, Tutto il giorno Testo evento On the occasion of International Women's Day, the University of Trieste's CUG has promoted the exhibition "Even Erasure is Violence", conceived and curated by the RivoltaPagina Collective. The exhibition can be visited on the ground floor of Central Building A (right atrium) from March 4 to 12, 2026.Since its inception in 2014, the review has focused on the biographies and memories of forgotten women who have made significant contributions to various fields of knowledge thanks to their inventiveness, tenacity, and ingenuity.The data still highlight the presence of numerous gender gaps in the labor market, in senior careers, and in salaries.According to the INPS Gender Report for 2025, the structural nature of these phenomena is confirmed.The female employment rate is 53.3%, compared to 71.1% for men. This gap is also evident in the private sector, where the pay gap on gross annual salary is 7.2%. The variable component, such as bonuses and bonuses, shows a gap of 27.4%. Only one in three women holds managerial positions.These data demonstrate the urgency of finding innovative solutions to ensure equal employment and pay opportunities for women in Italy.
