25 February 2026, 5:30 - 7 pm Sede evento Circolo della stampa - Corso Italia 13, Trieste Testo evento A region undergoing rapid change—shaped by the war in Gaza, evolving dynamics across the Middle East, and Iran’s growing role—will be the focus of the conference “The New Middle East between Gaza and Iran: A Region in Transformation”, scheduled for Wednesday 25 February 2026, at 5:30 pm, at the Press Club (Circolo della Stampa), Corso Italia 13, Trieste.The event is promoted by Dialoghi Europei and the Department of Political and Social Sciences (DiSPeS) of the University of Trieste, as part of the series “The Crisis of the World Order”. It offers an opportunity to discuss the transformations currently reshaping the region and the implications for regional balances—amid conflict scenarios, shifting alliances and long-term tensions.The conference will feature Giuseppe Dentice (PhD), analyst at the Mediterranean Observatory (OSMED) of the “San Pio V” Institute of Political Studies, and teaching assistant at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan), in conversation with Prof. Federico Donelli, Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Trieste.The discussion will be chaired by Renato Romano, President of Dialoghi Europei.
